Writing Trainers
Icebreaker, Writing
A creative writing activity.

(1) Ask your students to fill in the trainers with their pictures. They should be somehow connected with their hobbies.

(2) When they are done, put their drawings in a non-transparent box and shuffle them thoroughly.

(3) Every student takes one worksheet from the box and tries to guess the author's hobbies. They have 5 minutes to think and write their ideas down.

(4) Students take turns presenting their ideas to the class. The authors either confirm their guesses or correct mistakes.

(5) Vote for the brightest / the most beautiful / the most interesting / the most unusual / etc. trainers.

P.S.: These trainers can also be used with a story or a book. In this case students are asked to draw hobbies of one of the characters.
