(1) Each pair gets 1 worksheet and 2 pencils (yellow and red). The students choose a spider and begin the battle.
(2) The goal of the spiders on the top is to get to their brothers at the bottom. They can move in all directions, but they can only step on 1 verb at a time.
(3) To step on a verb, players need to make up a question with it. When the question is answered by the partner the verb can be crossed out with the player's pencil.
(4) The spiders will inevitably meet at some point. This is usually the most exciting moment for students.
If the verb is already occupied by the other spider, but you want to step on it, you need to conquer it. The students play "rock-scissors-paper". The winner gets the verb.
(5) The fastest to get to the opposite side of the board wins.
