The classics! An ELT worksheet for tasty lessons.
(1) The students look at the picture and make up sentences: There are SOME eggs. /The aren't ANY onions.
(2) Check their answers in a teacher fronted way and talk about other things in the fridge.
(3) Hand out the second worksheet and ask students to draw 5 food items from the first page.
(4) Students work in pairs. They take turns asking each other questions and trying to guess what food is inside the fridge of their partner:
- Are there any bananas in your fridge?
- No, there aren't any bananas! My turn. Are there any...?
(5) The fastest to guess all food items in the partner's fridge wins.
